Now, you probably don’t remember this, but many, many centuries ago in the mists of time… I used to post art to this blog! Yes, yes hold your gasps, it’s not always been just weird rants on punctuation, games and British TV series, no I used to actually draw stuff, then post it here. In fact it was the purpose of this blog! Okay okay I’ll stop./ Sorry for the delay, I was meaning to post this when I finally drew some stuff that was actually uuuh… worthwhile and I forgot! But hold onta ya butts, here comes a Sunday Night Sketchbook that’ll blow the peach fuzz off your lips! Here we go!
Happy New Year! Oh shiii, we’ve passed a year since our very first Sunday Night Sketchbook! That sure is a thing. Anyway, I recently got my new Microsoft Surface Pro (which I’ll hopefully do a sort of review of later but spoiler: it is incredible) and I’ve been doodling, drawing and sketching like crazy in it for practice! So buckle up bubs for some Sunday Night Surface Sketchbook action! Enjoy!
We’re back! With another Sunday Night Sketchbook! It’s been a while since our last one, but I’ve done a few individual posts here and there about the bigger pieces I’ve done, and between that and university work, there’s not been many other drawings to show off! However this week I took part in WMC Season 12.5, which was a livestreamed minecraft tournament, and so I’ve been doing some sketches and posters for that. I’m going home tomorrow for Christmas and my new toy, a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 should be waiting for me so hopefully I’ll be doing a lot more artwork once I have a more portable computer! Either way, enjoy this week’s edition!
So, not “The Sunday Night Sketchbook“, but it’s some art, and it’s mine! I finished The Map of Mindcrack last night, which is a picture that started off as a wee joke before developing into a piece I was actually really pleased with. I only wish I had realised earlier how much I was going to develop it so I could have drawn it at a much higher resolution and with more detail! Live and you learn, I guess.
Oooooh shiiii, it’s back! The Sunday Night Sketchbook Ya’ll. I promised it, and she has returned! This is going to be a LOT of drawings going all the way to the end of June, so hold onta ya butts! Hopefully I can get back into more regularity with these, so enjoy this ultra long post while it lasts- enjoy!
Forget digital, how’s about some real sketchbooks?! I’ve taken some photos of the sketchbooks I use day today, originally for a reddit thread on /r/notebooks (a good subreddit if you’re into notebooks by the way), but I figured I should also stick them up here! The REAL Sunday Night Sketchbook is coming back soon however, so don’t despair! Anyway, enjoy! You can also find more pictures of my notebooks at my instagram account if this wee photoset doesn’t appease your hunger for all things hand-drawn!
Hey everyone, this guys on his computer again! These last two months have been bloody fantastic, not least for all the traveling, fun times, marathons, boating, fishing, working, hiking, drinking and general healthy buffoonery I’ve been getting done, but for the fact that it’s given me plenty of time away from the computer and internet to be doodling and drawing in the ol’ sketchbook. Now, this does come with some downsides- more noticeably the fact I have not updated you guys in stuff for weeks! But that changes today! Here’s my collection of drawings from the past few weeks, and rest assured, this is the start of my return! I’ve been planning some blog posts about my travels and what I’ve been up to all this time, as well as some long overdue Youtube series! Anyway, I’m planning a blog update with all my summer plans both so far and in the future but until then- drawings! Enjoy!
Greeeeetings true believers! I know, what a long time to have gone without posting on my flashy wee blog, but a multitude of events including exams, a marathon and a move home have meant I’ve had little or no time at all for internet duties! Which, honestly is pretty awesome. There’s nothing better than spending time outdoors on my home island, and I had a blast running the marathon so I’m certainly going to make the drive to do more outdoorsy stuff (in fact, keep an eye out here for some updates and what not)! Anyway, let’s get to the artwork! Again, not exactly a months worth of work, but plenty to keep you entertained. Hopefully I’ll be getting back on the drawing horse ASAP (or once the weather gets worse!)
HEY BABES welcome back to the Sunday Night Sketchbook! Another pretty big week of sketching and drawing, including the finished version of a piece I’ve been working on for some time! So we’ll cut to the chase and get into the drawings- enjoy!
Buckle up Bagginses! We have a Sketchbook so bursting full of drawings, I literally do no know how to format it! I’ve been making a series of Tumblr posts in which I answer questions submitted by the lovely folks over there. The questions have been silly answers full of gifs and other nonsense, and you can see parts one, two, three and four in their original glory here! Either way, let’s get to it- enjoy!
